    I was trying to solve the mystery as well, as I’ve seen them in Olympia, WA and a friend who recently moved to Austin, TX saw one today there as well. If you google it, you can find various other photographic evidence in Seattle and Columbus, OH via people’s Flickr accounts. This vlog was the closest I could get to an answer…

    I don’t know what you’re saying, but…
    I was going to add “if you have references” but was too lazy.
    And enough with the one-word comments. They don’t do a very good job communicating.

    That word was followed by an image of photographic evidence. Not only did the image not display, but I don’t have an edit option for comments in threads I didn’t create.

    i did those stickers, 10 years ago when i lived in LA. i made 750,000 and they’re been everywhere. great wall of china, golden gate, eiffel tower, it’s been fun.

    Interesting. I assume you are not affiliated with Frank Shepard Fairey? The nature of DIY cut-and-paste photocopy art makes it hard to distinguish authorship. What was your distribution method for ¾ million worldwide decal vandalism?
