As some of you know I recently switched back to Ubuntu. My new computer has a graphics card capable of handling the new* desktop effects Linux has to offer. My desktop is now all orange gummi candy that wobbles and bounces and catches on fire. It makes Vista look boring and OS X conservative. So, yeah, I thought I was sittin’ pretty. Until I found out that the “new” desktop effects were actually the “old” desktop effects. Sigh. Here’s the new shit:
