I don’t know how many Fates readers (shall I call you The Fated?) listen to twee but I just can’t keep this to myself:  A bittorrent tracker exclusively for twee.  It’s raining cupcakes!

Downloading TV Shows Tue. Nov 14th, 06

My favorite way to watch TV is by downloading episodes from a bittorrent site after they’ve aired. I like to be able to watch them after I’ve finished my homework, with the commercials edited out. I’ve been bouncing around bittorrent sites to get the episodes. The one site that I didn’t seem to use much is a site that one would think would be among the best–the Pirate Bay (TPB). But, it really wasn’t. It’s not like the torrents weren’t there, it was just that other sites made it so much easier. Well, that’s changed. TPB added a TV section. ON the main page you click “TV shows” and that takes you to a page with what seems to be all the popular, currently running shows–about fifty of them. Scroll to the bottom and click on “Show all series” and you get a boatload of shows, including many that don’t air on American TV, or are no longer on the air. TPB is the largest bittorrent site on the web, which means you can expect some zippy download times. If I were a network head, I’d upload episodes 24 hours after they aired. The networks can’t force people to watch TV, but if they make it easy for us to follow the shows even when we can’t tune in, they can be sure that when we can watch, we’ll be watching their station.

In case you were wondering: Heroes, Battlestar Galactica, Torchwood, and soon Doctor Who. What are you watching?
